Alex looks just like his daddy, but he likes to play games just like his mommy. He loves to play any game in his closet. Lately we've been playing cards. We started out with "Go Fish" and have added "Crazy Eights", "Slapjack" and "Go to the dump" (remarkably similar to Go Fish!) to our repertoire. Soon he'll be ready to play Canasta with me! :)
We've also taken advantage of the school supply sales and gotten a few art supplies for at home. The teacher in me loves to think up fun (but educational!) activities for Alex and I to do together. I love the mom and Alex time we have together. Alex did a great job cutting and gluing shapes on "instruction" paper the other night. Tonight, we talked about what we like about summer and Alex drew himself and daddy at the Pearl Park pool. That's what he likes about summer!
