Over the last year, I've been working to stretch our grocery budget a bit further, by using coupons. It's no surprise that Alex asks two important questions when he wants to get something from the store... "Is it on the list?" and "Do we have a coupon?" It's become a fun hobby too and many Sunday afternoons I can be found watching the Twins game and clipping coupons. This past week, Alex got a new kid scissors, so I thought it would be good practice for him to "help" me clip coupons. He was eager to try and he spent a good half hour with me cutting. He did very well and was very proud to be mommy's helper.
