We made it out to the State Fair this year!! After the 90 degree weather earlier in the week, it was in the low 60s, with some wicked wind on Friday when we went. We dug out our sweatshirts and blankets and braved the elements. We are Minnesotans after all!!
We had a ton of fun! We hadn't been to the fair with Alex since he was 2, so this was a lot of fun for him. One of the highlights was going down the Giant Slide with Auntie Steph. Three Times!!!! Steph was a good sport and took Alex to the Fun House as well!
We have some favorites that we just have to get when we go to the Fair. Like Corn on the Cob. So yummy!
We spent some quality time in the animal barns. Saw the horses, cattle, goats and of course the world's largest pig!
After eating a corn dog, some french fries, a pickle on a stick and a mango smoothie, it was time to go home! The Fair was quite the success this year!
