When we went to DC last time, I thought the National Cathedral was so beautiful, and I decided that the next time we came back, I wanted to go inside.
Joe's brother, Bob, met up with us to visit the Cathedral. The day before, he and Joe, who don't often get quality brother time to hang out, went out to the Air and Space Museum and Bob took Joe out to see his house and stomping grounds. While they were out and about, Alex and I went over to Steph's office, the zoo, and took care of some pesky wheelchair issues I was having! Since Alex and I hadn't had much time to spend with Bob the day before, we were so glad he was able to join us on this day!
Inside the Cathedral was amazing. The architecture and stained glass was breathtaking. One of Joe and I's favorite all time shows, The West Wing, has an episode where a very poignant scene takes place at the back of this church, so it was cool to see it for that reason as well.
