Just in time for Easter, Spring has finally sprung, and we are sure glad about that around here! I'm thankful to finally not be cold all of the time! We had a really nice Easter, dying eggs, going to church, having lunch with my Dad and Chris, and hanging out with Steph. Plus, the weather was so fantastic it made everything better!!
It's so nice to be able to be outside again! Alex loves going out to play with the doggies or blow bubbles (for the dogs to chase!) Fresh air makes me feel like a new person, and certainly a much happier person! I can't wait until the weather is more consistently warmer... the deck is calling to me!
Speaking of dogs, this cute girl is still with us! We've had Mia for almost a month and she's come such a long way. Joe has put so much time and effort into taking care of her and getting her trained into a routine! When we first got her, she hated her kennel and cried/whined/howled for hours on end (super nice at 2am!) But, she is doing so well with it now and sometimes Joe has to actually coax her out of the kennel in the morning. I don't think she'll be with us much longer, as she's started to get some interest in being adopted! It will be hard to say goodbye to her, as we've grown accustomed to having her around, but we are excited for her to find a great home! Joe wouldn't mind getting a bit more sleep, as he's been getting up around 5am with her each morning! :) Jilly may miss her the most, as they have been becoming quite the pair!
