Just four days after school got out, Alex packed up his suitcase and went out to Gramma and Grandpa's house in South Dakota for the week! It's become an annual tradition for Alex to go out to their house for the week that their church has VBS. Alex (and I think Gramma and Grandpa too!) loves it!
Besides VBS, they also do tons of other fun stuff too! Like flying kits, launching rockets, playing games, playing disc golf, going to the Dam, looking at stars, and visiting museums! So. Much. Fun.
I've said it before, I'll say it again... Alex is so very lucky and blessed to have grandparents who love him so much and want to spend time with him. When I see him with my mom and Mark as well as my dad and Chris, it makes me so happy that he has the opportunity to spend time with and really get to know his grandparents.
Gramma and Grandpa's house was just the first stop on our summer adventure! Once VBS was over, Joe and I drove to SD to pick up Alex and we continued on for more adventures...
