Back in May, I saw a Living Social deal for a train ride. Thinking that Alex would love it, and that it'd be a great activity to plan for the summer, I bought three tickets! Our summer got crazy (with moving and stuff!) and all of the sudden it was August and we hadn't planned our train ride. So, last weekend, we drove to Osceola, WI and took a ride on the Osceola & St. Croix Valley Railway. We had a blast! The weather was beautiful and the ride itself was very cool. The train had around 15 cars and riders could walk through the entire train. The scenery was beautiful and it was a really neat experience. All three of us had the camera at some point and I think we all got some awesome pictures.

Before we left Osceola, we took a little tour of the town, stopping to get some ice cream and Joe and Alex went down to check out Cascade Falls! What a great day!!
Super fun Holly! We just took the train ride in Duluth a couple weeks ago. Fun for little boys! :) You did get some great pictures too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Melissa! We went to the train museum in Duluth last time we were there, but didn't have a chance to take the train ride... we'll have to do that next time! Fun for boys of all sizes (Joe loved it as much as Alex did!!!) :)
