Do you ever have a weekend where everything is just about perfect? Over the 4th of July we headed out to South Dakota for the long weekend. We had beautiful weather the entire time we were there. Joe and Mark had a ton of fun putting on a couple of great fireworks shows for us.... you can see everything they set off in the picture below. We had fun visiting friends (and kittens), exploring the Brown Earth Church, throwing rocks in the LaBolt Dam, grilling delicious food, taking walks, sitting on the porch, beating my mom in Scrabble (but, Mark beat both of us!), taking out the metal detector and going to church. It was a great mix of fun activities and relaxing porch sitting!! It was great to make these wonderful summer memories!
