Each day, one student from Alex's classroom gets to be the "special child". They get to bring in some special things from home and put together a poster about themselves. The special child also gets to be the line leader and the lights helper for the day. Needless to say, it's a pretty big deal when it's your day to be the special child!
Well, today was Alex's day to be the special child! It was a very exciting day!
Here are a few fun facts that Alex wrote on his poster:
Favorite Colors: Blue & Green
Favorite Animal: Dogs
Favorite Food: Ham & tortilla and cheese
Favorite Sports: Soccer & Baseball
When he grows up he would like to be a Dad and a fireman

He had a lot of fun picking out his baby things for the table. He loved looking through the photo album to pick out a few pictures to bring and he got a kick out of his baby shoes and clothes. And, of course, Arfy had to come along, because he was Alex's toy when he was a baby and now!!
Alex truly is a very special child!!
Holly, I like the 'new' blog layout. I usually see your blog on google reader so I miss seeing the actual layout.
