It's hard to believe that we've already been home from the Sunshine State for over a week. So, lest I forget what warm weather looks like, here are a few more pictures from our trip.
On this trip, we found out that Alex loves mini golf! His golf approach might be categorized as freestyle, and he may or may not have kept Steph and Bonnie running around trying to keep his golf balls from going in the water, but nonetheless, he loved it!! At one of the courses we visited, they even had live alligators!
We also had to go visit the ocean while on vacation! Alex was pretty interested in swimming in the ocean, and besides the fact that he was so excited that he swallowed a lot of salt water, he didn't want to leave.
The house we rented in Cape Coral (west of Fort Myers Beach) was wonderful. It was big, had 4 bedrooms, a great kitchen which overlooked the family room, and a perfect Canasta table (in the interest of full disclosure, Steph and I did play a lot of Canasta, and Steph did win every game). It also had its own heated pool and patio and grill. Everyone had plenty room to spread out and we enjoyed our time at the house reading books, watching movies, playing wii, playing cards and games, swimming, making dinner on the grill, and enjoying the warm weather on the patio!!
We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful vacation with our dear friend, Steph, and our Bon and Tim!
So jealous!! I'm glad you guys had fun. Wish you would have brought some of that sun back with you though. :)
