Another little update...

Hi Friends! Thanks for checking in! I just thought I'd give a little update on how we're doing. (No, pictures, sorry... I always think a post is better with pictures!!) Joe is recovering well from surgery, he's still pretty sore and needs to take it easy, but he's doing better than I thought possible. Alex and I are in South Dakota and we're having a very nice time. The weather here has been great and we've done a lot of relaxing and playing. Our house is getting back to normal. The city picked up all the huge sticks and branches from our curb. We are hoping to get our roof fixed soon (there's a hole in our garage roof and a bunch of wind damage on our house roof). Other then all of that, we are all doing pretty well. Thanks to everyone who has helped us out in the past week, the encouraging phone calls, the lodging, the clean-up, the many, many offers to help, and just walking through the craziness with us. We appreciate it more than we could ever express!! Okay, I'll be back soon and the next post will definitely have pictures!!!
