Well, I think Alex's 3rd birthday was a smashing success! This year was so fun, because Alex really looked forward to his birthday and got so excited about it! He woke up on the morning of his birthday and kept saying "I'm three!" Daddy and Alex had a special breakfast at Perkins (Alex's request) in the morning. Then there was lots of playing during the day! When I got off work, Bonnie and I met up with them at Chuck E. Cheese's for dinner and fun. Alex was so giddy he could hardly handle it!
Alex got to try lots of games, but I think he particularly liked the things he could ride on!
And of course, he had to play a few rounds of whack a mole (or some lizard type animal!)
Then it was home for presents!
The new train was a bit hit. Alex read the directions to Daddy so he could put it together! Now Alex plays and plays and plays and plays with his new train!
Alex got lots of great phone calls and messages from friends and family!! What a great day! (Which led to a great night sleep for all... all that fun was exhausting!)
