We have been having a blast at our house lately. I had a very nice birthday, besides the Vikings loss. When Alex found out it was my birthday he asked "Where's the cake?" We enjoyed my delicious ice cream and fruit cake later that evening.
I came home from work the other night and Alex and Daddy had made a fort in the living room. How fun!
Alex has had an extra measure of spunk lately. He was playing in his room and we heard some racket, when Joe went to check on him, this is what he found... grinning from ear to ear, Alex was very proud that he got EVERY toy out so he could get in!
We've been having fun with some of Alex's new Christmas presents, he got some bath crayons, which he obviously loved, coloring on himself and all over the bathtub. He is such a happy boy!
We've been in to "games" lately at home. Alex got Candyland and Ants in the Pants for Christmas, which Joe and I have loved playing with him... he also got a bowling set. I'm not sure I've ever seen a kid love a toy more. He bowls first thing in the morning. I called Joe around lunch, and Alex was bowling. And tonight he bowled until it was time to get ready for bed. It's pretty awesome!

ReplyDeleteGreat pics, Holly! I miss you! We are in the crazy process of moving this week, but I'll try to re-emerge soon and set up a playdate. Good luck surviving these frigid days with a toddler to entertain. :-)
