After a couple year hiatus from having a garden, we decided that we wanted to plant one again this year! I had mentioned to Joe that I would love to garden, but I realized it was very unrealistic that it would be possible. My dear husband took that as a challenge and found some plans to make a table height garden box so that I could, indeed, garden. With his hurt back, it actually made a lot of sense for him to have a garden where he didn't have to bend as much as well! Before I knew it, he and Alex were working hard to build my garden box!
Alex was pretty excited to help, so Joe picked up some kid-sized work gloves for him and they were ready to start sorting wood and putting the box together. Alex was a good helper and hung in there for a couple of hours while we put it together (then he went to the backyard to run through the sprinker!)
