Giving Thanks!

As we sat around the Thanksgiving table this year, Alex requested that we all say something that we were thankful for... it was a good exercise to remind us that we were gathering with family to be with each other and to not take our abundance (in all things) for granted.  This year we were thankful that our family could gather, that our friend Miranda from South Dakota could join us, that our newest niece, granddaughter, sweet baby (and her mama) were healthy and nearing the time for her big arrival, that we had a wonderful meal to enjoy... we are thankful!

The grandparents got their annual Thanksgiving picture with the grandsons:

It's fun to see how the boys have grown... here's last year's picture:

We had a nice time together hanging out, doing a little Black Friday shopping, eating, and playing games!  Alex and Gramma got to continue their tradition of putting together the antique Manger scene like Gramma had when she was a little girl!

We also braved the elements and went downtown to see the Hollidazzle parade!  It was pretty cold (brrrrrrrrr), but we had fun (Alex loved it!) and made some good memories!

We are so blessed!
