It's been awhile since I've posted, and we've had a lot going on since then. But, right now, we're just surviving. Joe had surgery, a six day hospital stay and came home last Monday. He had a very large (1 inch in diameter) kidney stone removed and it was quite the procedure. During the surgery, the lining of his lung got nicked, so he had fluid on his lung and had trouble breathing (luckily he didn't tell me that the rapid response team had to be called twice, until after I knew he was okay). Overall, his surgery was successful, but the recovery is a bit slow. He's still tired, sore, and just generally not feeling well. He actually has to go in this Wednesday for another out-patient surgery to wrap things up. Ugh. If you have a moment to pray for him, I would very much appreciate it!
