The celebrations for this kid lasted more than one day, we partied for over a week! First, we had a birthday dinner and presents with Gramma Linda and Grandpa Mark! Turkey burgers on the grill, as requested by Alex! Alex also got to open a fun present that came in the mail from Auntie Steph too!
Then, a few days after his actual big day, he got to have a "party" with his best friend at Nickelodeon Universe. They had an absolute blast and ran around to every fun and scary ride they could find! Both boys were up for trying just about any ride, which made them a great pair for this activity! Roller Coasters, the Log Chute, bumper cars, Brain Surge, and so much more! Joe and I loved watching them have a blast together!! As an added bonus, the mall had a big wiiU display with tons of wii games to play and a fun backdrop to take pictures! The boys were in heaven!
To finish off Birthday Week, we went over to Grandma Chris and Grandpa Steve's house! Alex requested pizza and Angry Birds cupcakes. Yum! We had fun hanging out, watching the Twins game, and playing outside.
Grandpa has a set of kid sized golf clubs, so Alex got busy practicing to be like Tiger Woods. He hit some, he missed some! Tad wanted in on the action, so he got some clubs to play with too!
Whew... we had a fun and busy week celebrating Alex's birthday! Here's to a fantastic, wonderful, awesome 7th year!!
