It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

With all of the snow that we got last weekend, it sure is starting to feel like Christmas!  On Sunday we got around 10 inches of snow, Alex sang in the Cantata at church, we put up our Christmas decorations, Joe ran the snow blower four separate times, and Alex enjoyed making snow angels, a snow fort, and throwing snowballs!

We started the morning by driving the six blocks to church in the quickly falling snow.  Alex sang in the children's choir for the Christmas Cantata and we were so proud of him.  He sang his heart out and did such a great job!  The first picture is a little blurry, but you can see Alex singing, which I love!

When we got home, Joe went back outside to clear the snow again, as it was coming down so quickly it was hard to stay on top of it, but he did a great job!  Alex went outside to play while Joe finished the driveway!  Since we had such a mild winter last year, with basically no snow, I think Alex almost forgot how much fun it is to play in it!  Here he is ready to head outside...

SNOW!!!

Finally back inside to warm up!!

After Joe and Alex got warm and dry, we put up our Christmas tree and decorations!  We sure are having fun decorating our new house!!    It was great to talk about all of the special ornaments as we put them on the tree and really enjoy this memorable holiday tradition as a family.  The tree turned out just perfect and we love how it looks in the front window all lit up!  It really feels like Christmas now!!
