Thanksgiving 2012

We had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving!  Joe's brother, Bob, and our two nephews Robert and Joseph came to visit us from Virginia!!  Joe hadn't seen his nephews for over a decade, so it was great to reconnect again!

We had fun eating Joe's great cooking, playing games, watching football, and relaxing!!  The boys (minus the six year old) stayed up late and went shopping at the  Mall of America and Walmart at midnight on Thanksgiving.  We got a little snow (and cold!) on Thanksgiving as well, so the east-coasters definitely got a little taste of a Minnesota weather.

On Friday, it was nice to have some of my side of the family join the Calvillo clan for games and dinner!  The food was fantastic and we loved having a full house (we are once again very thankful for our new home, which allows us to be able to host events like this!)

Before our guests went back to Virginia, we had to show them around our town at least a little bit, so after a yummy dinner at a local Mexican restaurant, we gave them the 1 hour driving tour of Minneapolis.  We ended up stopping at the Stone Arch Bridge and everyone got out to see some great views of the city!  It was pretty chilly!

Joe and I are so thankful that we had our family with us for Thanksgiving.  It was wonderful to spend quality time with Bob, Robert, and Joseph!  Let's do it again next year!

Thanks to Bob for taking all these great pictures!!
