Alex is on Spring Break this week!!! Let the fun begin!
We started off the week by going to Broadway Pizza to celebrate Gramma Linda's (belated) birthday! We ate yummy pizza and had fun visiting with our family (and friends, Diana, Bobby, Sara and Claire joined us too!!!). And, Gramma got some awesome presents: Starbucks, Peeps and good books!! Alex looked through Gramma and Grandpa's pictures from China, and told them next time he was going to with them to China.

Joe and Alex took a trip the next day to the Woodlake Nature Center in Richfield. They had a great time walking on the paths and checking out all of the wildlife. (Can I tell you how much I love that my husband takes my son to do these kind of things? I'm so glad they get to bond and spend so much quality time together.)
All of us are loving the warmer weather. Joe got the backyard all ready for playing. Alex told me, "Mom, to make the hula hoop go round and round, you got to move your hips!"
Alex has been riding his bike too! Although, Mr. Growing Boy, has just about grown out of his trike. He's decided he's almost ready for a big boy bike and helmet (safety first!)
Even though I've missed out on some of the daytime Spring Break fun... Alex and Joe made me feel very special by giving me a treat when I got home from work... a chocolate covered Peep. It was actually really yummy!
I wonder what the rest of Spring Break will hold!?!?! :)
