Spring Break continued with more fun! It got a little cooler later in the week, so Joe and Alex decided to do a little cooking. They made brownies and homemade granola bars. I'm not sure we will ever be able to buy granola bars again, because these tasted so good. Delicious! Bonnie stopped by for dinner and enjoyed some of the homemade goods too!
Alex was thrilled when we told him that we were going to play the Wii for a special occasion! He just gets so excited. He loves to play Wii Sport Resort, and is actually really good at fencing and ping pong. Frisbee Dog is also a big favorite!
Over the weekend, the weather warmed up a little bit! We got out and played some baseball! We are working on setting up a vegetable garden this year, so Alex has been trying to find worms to dig up! He also has been looking for bugs to catch and has his butterfly net out in the yard looking for any kind of bugs he can!
On Palm Sunday, Alex got to walk up the aisle with all of the children waving their palm branches for Jesus. I think Alex was excited to be a part of the "parade" with all of the big kids. After church, he ate an Oreo cookie and hung out with his Uncle!!
All in all, Spring Break was great! But, I think Alex is looking forward to going back to Preschool tomorrow!
