Thankful.

We have much to be thankful for. It was so nice to be able to get away for a few days for Thanksgiving. We had a great time in South Dakota. We ate yummy food, relaxed and played lots of games. It was a great time. Alex had lots of fun at Gramma and Grandpa's... he did lots of playing too and even helped me play Settlers of Catan. (He's a good partner!) It was good to be with our family for Thanksgiving!

When we got back from South Dakota, we picked up our friend Steph and enjoyed spending a couple of days hanging out with her. We also celebrated Bobby's birthday, with a brunch at Granite City (good stuff!). It's always good to catch up with friends.

Now it's back to work and preschool and normal (whatever that is) life for us. Alex is sure getting excited about Christmas. We watched Rudolph tonight and I love to see the excitement on his face as he enjoys fun Christmas stuff. We are hoping to get a tree soon and can't wait to get our decorations up!

I am thankful for my family, for my friends, for a warm home, a sweet boy, a wonderful husband, a good job, hazelnut coffee creamer, and Jesus.
