Although I really enjoyed everything that we saw in DC, there were a few favorites to be sure...
Alex definitely loved the animal zoo... we were in the ape house watching the orangatan for quite awhile. Alex thought it was so great!
We also went to the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History... this was almost as good as the animal zoo... Alex was giddy looking at all the different kinds of animals. He was running from animal to animal.
Another favorite was the Archives, where the Constitution, Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence are stored. It was very cool to see the original documents of our Nation.
The National Cathedral was incredible. It is huge and the architectual detail is amazing. When we make it back to DC again, I definitely want to go inside.
Here's our dog Skipper making the blog! He got to go to the Pet Hotel while we are gone and also got a handsome haircut. The hotel said Skip did great and had fun playing with the other dogs!
