to Omaha this weekend.... Joe's dad had surgery on Friday, so we left on Thursday to get down to Omaha. Frank's surgery went really well and we were able to spend a little time with him before and after the surgery. We are thankful it went so well! We spent some time with Joe's family and Alex also got to enjoy the hotel pool. Before we left on Saturday, we visited the Henry Doorly Zoo, which was awesome. Alex is so lucky to have been to the zoo twice in the last couple of weeks! He was a great traveler and was a good sport as we spent a lot of time in the hospital on Friday.
Speaking of surgery.... Joe is going in for shoulder surgery tomorrow (Tuesday), to repair an injury that's been bothering him for several months. Pray for his quick recovery... Alex and I rely on that shoulder a lot! :)
Oh, Alex went with! That's fun. I'm glad everything went well and I hope Joe's surgery goes well also. Wow, you guys have been busy!
