...Because we're home! We are back from a 5 day trip to Kansas visiting Joe's family. The main reason for the trip was to attend Joe's nephew's wedding, but we had a chance to visit with a lot of family as well, which was great!!
We were very excited for Alex to meet his Grandpa Vargas! Since he lives in Nebraska, we hadn't made it out to see him yet. Alex loved hanging out with Grandpa!
Alex also made fast friends with his Uncle John and Cousin Meagan. He thinks they are just the coolest!!!
We had a couple of eating goals while we were on vacation... and we accomplished both of them... Waffle House and Sonic... yum!!
It rained the ENTIRE time we were in Kansas! But, at least it wasn't hot. We spent lots of time hanging out at Joe's brother's house and at our hotel. Alex loved jumping on the bed and crawling around, exploring everything!
We also spent quite a bit of time in the car... but we made the best of it!
Traveling is always fun... but it's nice to be home too!

Hey guys! Hadn't been to your blog for a long time...as always, so fun to read and see updated photos of you all..Alex is such a little boy now! And he will be 1 so soon! :) We are still in the waiting game, I am almost 37 weeks. The baby is footling breech at the moment, so if she doesn't flip, a c-section will be scheduled in a few weeks (week 39 for me). We will post an announcement on our blog when she comes. Hope you are all well and staying cool as I hear MN is hot!! Cami :)
