Alex woke up this morning on Valentine's Day with a note he had to decode that started a treasure hunt around the house... the excitement was priceless...
After finding the books and chocolate amongst the Lucky Charms in the pantry and the Burt's Bees in the bathroom... Alex headed to school so excited for the fun day at school... he brought his pirate valentines and goldfish cracker treats to his classmates... (a fun Pinterest idea found here)... and could hardly wait for the party in the afternoon!
Joe and Tad went to school for Alex's party (you are such a good daddy!!) and found Alex having a blast with his class playing Valentine's Bingo, getting his face painted, reading "love" books, making trail mix, and fun crafts! His teacher gave all the students teddy bears (Alex named his Teddy Bear after Teddy Roosevelt, of course) and the kids were just thrilled.
When I got home from work I was greeted by my favorite boys with lovely cards and chocolate (yum!!) and for dinner we ate heart shaped pizza and mini cherry pies (made by my dear sweet husband).
Doesn't get much better than this, folks!! Happy Valentine's Day!!
