We are still patiently waiting to find the perfect home to buy. Well, maybe not so patiently waiting. But, waiting, none the less. Oh, it is so easy to become discontented as we wait. We think about all of things that we are hoping to have in the new house, like room to entertain and room for the dog and kid to play in the yard. Our current yard is pretty small, and although we still get plenty of use out of it, we've had to get creative too. We have a church down at the end of our street with a big parking lot, which has been awesome for riding bikes, running around, and playing games. Although it's not ideal to have to walk down the street to get out and play, it's still been great to have this option close to home. Alex and I usually walk down to the church parking lot a couple of times a week. Hopefully, when Alex looks back at our time living in this house, he won't remember the small yard , but he will remember all of the walks we took and the adventures we had in the church parking lot!!
