Spring Fever

This probably happens every year, but once the weather starts to warm up, I feel like a new person.  With the temperature hitting at least 65 degrees this weekend, we opened the windows, got a little spring cleaning done, and got outside to play!  We took a walk around the neighborhood and stopped at the church parking lot to kick a ball around and for Joe and Jilly to show off the skills they are learning at dog obedience school!

Before we headed out for our walk, Joe and Alex whipped up a batch of Easter shaped Jell-o jigglers, and once we got home they couldn't wait to see how they turned out (and eat them too!)

Somehow the beautiful weather made the weekend seem so much longer than usual (even with losing an hour!)  Joe and I stayed up and watched a movie (The Help-- so good!), we got to have brunch with our nephew, Anthony and his girlfriend, and Alex and I went to see the play "The Secret Garden" (which was so fun!  It was a little longer show than we've seen before, with a more complex storyline, but Alex was so engaged!  He looked at me after the actors had taken a bow and said "I loved it!!"  I loved it too!).

Ahhhh, I'm done with winter now, bring on spring!!
