Merry Christmas from the Calvillos!

As you can see, we were able to get a good family picture! Merry Christmas to you all! We are so thankful for our little family and are happy to report that 2010 was another good year!
Alex turned 4 this summer and is smart as a whip. We've been enjoying reading chapter books aloud, and Alex has started to recognize many words and is reading short phrases! He loves his 4 year old preschool class and has a wonderful class and teachers. He has endless energy, that Joe and I are envious of, he has a great sense of humor and loves to laugh! He loves going to the zoo, Woodlake Nature Center, hanging out with his grandparents and cooking with Daddy.
Joe has had the privilege of staying home with Alex again this year and they have a ton of fun together. I'm so thankful of all the work that Joe does to keep our household running! I'm still working at Berean in the finance department, which keeps me plenty busy. And while I really do like my job, I am sometime a smidge jealous of some of the fun things that Alex and Joe do while I'm at work! I started working toward my Masters Degree in Organizational Leadership in January and will graduate in a little over a year. Joe is still dealing with many back and shoulder issues, and we continue to search for good solutions to his pain. Even through all the pain, he still takes such good care of us, and for this we are very thankful.
We are extremely blessed with a warm place to live, our loving family, the sweetest son, and Joe's yummy cooking!
We hope that you are having a blessed Christmas season!
Joe, Holly, and Alex
