This last Tuesday, I had sinus surgery, so I've been laying low recovering all week. The surgery went well, but I've been uncomfortable and very tired, but I'm hoping it will help with my chronic sinus infections. Today, I'm finally starting to feel better. Even though I was out of commission this week, Alex went to preschool and made an awesome heart shaped bird feeder. He hung it outside on the tree for the birds to eat.
Not only has Joe been taking wonderful care of me during my recovery, he's also been keeping our house clean, making delicious meals, and he even has time to make cookies with Alex! What a great guy!
Today, we watched the Super Bowl and ate Stir fry for dinner! Yum! Alex and I wanted the Colts to win, and Joe wanted the Saints to win. Well, what we really wanted was to see the Vikings win today, but guess we'll have to wait for next year!
