Where did Spring go???

Joe, Alex and I were planning to take a quick road trip to Fargo this weekend for our niece Terra's choir concert. (She's a sophmore at Moorhead State!) We left rainy Minneapolis around 11:30 am Friday... about 1:00 pm we hit Alexandria... yeah, it was bad. The roads were terrible... we did make it to Fargo around 5:00 pm (a normally 3.5 hour trip), but we found out later that the road from Alexandria to Moorhead was closed later that evening because of the terrible road conditions.

But, we made it and made it to Terra's concert. It was lovely.

We were planning to head home Saturday afternoon, but after seeing the roads, we decided to stay one more night and let the roads dry up. It was fun to hang out with the Calvillo's an extra day. Both Terri (my sister in law) and my camera's battery were dead, so no more pictures from the fun weekend. If we had our camera's you would be seeing pics of the kids (and Louie and Joe) playing in the pool, climbing in the playland, watching Joe and Louie try to figure out the tv so we could watch a movie (never happened!) and some of our shopping execursions.

Oh well. We still had fun, even though it was very snowy, windy and cold. Okay, I'm really ready for Spring now!
