Milestones!

Well, this week has been full of new experiences!!!

First, he had his first finger foods this week. CHEERIOS!

Alex loved playing with them and throwing them on the ground for the doggie. By day 2 he was already chewing (really gumming) them and yesterday he put the first one in his mouth by himself!!!

Alex also moved upstairs to his very own bedroom for sleeping at night. He has been sleeping in his bed downstairs in our room, but it was time for him to go to his own room. Alex did great and slept 8 hours without a peep the first night. Mom and Dad did have a hard time with their baby so far away (I was convinced that the monitor was not working!!) but, are proud of their big boy in his own room!

Alex also decided this week that it was time to move. Practically over night he got up on his knees and started rocking. He's even started diving forward and spinning himself to get to his toys.

Speaking of toys, Alex is more interested in them then ever. He especially likes the ones that make lots of noise and play music. The glow worm that Daddy got him is currently one of his favorites. I think he likes it the best when he can get them all playing at the same time!
